1801 $10 --Damaged--NCS. AU Details. Breen-6843, Taraszka-25, BD-2, R.2. The reverse rim has a small ding at 6:30, and the rim appears flat at 5:30, although the obverse rim opposite is unaffected. Liberty's cap and drapery have only a hint of highpoint wear. The reverse field is moderately prooflike and perhaps slightly bright. The obverse has scattered small marks, while the reverse is generally smooth. Despite minor problems, many collectors would jump at the chance to obtain a partly lustrous example of this large and scarce early gold type.(Registry values: P1)
