1801 $10 --Damaged--NGC. AU Details. Breen-6843, Taraszka-25, BD-2, R.2. Star 7 has two points close to the cap, and star 1 has one point distant from the hair curl. The BD-2 die combination is the single most plentiful variety in the entire series from 1795 to 1804. It is a variety frequently found in type collections.This green-gold representative has sharp details and considerable luster on both sides. The obverse has a heavy scratch through the mouth into the right field, with other lesser scratches in that field. Pin scratches outline the entire obverse device.(Registry values: P1)
