Handsome Uncirculated 1803 Ten Dollar
1803 $10 Small Stars Reverse MS60 NGC. Breen-6844, Taraszka-28, BD-3, R.4. This impressive apricot-gold representative is surprisingly free from abrasions, and the strike is crisp aside from the eagle's left (facing) claw. The centers are unusually well brought up, particularly the breast feathers and the hair near the ear. The obverse has light peripheral adjustment marks, as produced, but the eye appeal is exceptional for the grade. Clash marks from the curls surround the eagle's beak. The reverse side of the holder has a vertical mark that appears in the images without any effect on the coin itself. An opportunity for the alert early gold specialist.(Registry values: P2)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2628, PCGS# 8565, GSID# 9349)
