    Description

    MS63 1795 Half Dime, V-2, LM-3

1795 H10C MS63 PCGS. CAC. V-2, LM-3, R.5. A beautiful example of this scarcer die marriage. The obverse has a cream-gray portrait encompassed by lilac, ocean-blue, and jade-green. The reverse is primarily olive-green and plum-red with hints of powder-blue. Satin luster abounds. Brief parallel Mint-made adjustment marks are noted on the obverse border, but the only visible abrasion is a single diagonal line concealed within the lower hair curls. The vertical die crack across the portrait is characteristic of LM-3. Crisply struck overall with minor incompleteness on the breast feathers.
