Description
1795 V-4, LM-10, Half Dime, VF35
Early Die State
1795 H10C V-4, LM-10, R.3, VF35 PCGS. The Flowing Hair half
dime series had an immensely small mintage of just 86,416 pieces in
its two years of issue. The present specimen displays muted gray
silver luster. There are some minor abrasions on the coin, though
none of which prove overly detrimental to the appeal. The border
dentils are complete around each side, while the fields exhibit the
usual clash marks (as struck). This represents an ideal opportunity
for type collectors to obtain an example from this short-lived
series.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22ZV, Variety PCGS# 38594, Base PCGS# 4251, Greysheet# 198151)
