    1797 H10C 15 Stars, V-2, LM-1, R.3, XF40 NGC. The 1797 Draped Bust half dime claims a mintage of 44,527 pieces, with four die varieties known for the date. This coin represents the LM-1 variety, with 15 stars and the outer berry between N and I in UNITED. This lightly worn example retains much original design detail in the hairlines. The lightly abraded surfaces display shades of pale gold and lavender-gray toning. The central obverse portrait shows slight strike softness. (NGC ID# 22ZZ, Variety PCGS# 38597, Base PCGS# 4258)
