    1797 H10C 16 Stars--Scratched, Cleaned--ANACS. VF20 Details V-3, LM-3, R.5. The second 7 of the date is large, and there is one inner berry and two outer berries, with the upper one under the upright of the D in UNITED. The scarcer of the two 16 Star variants, and the second-rarest of four die pairings known for the date. Bright silver-gray surfaces reveal fine hairlines, and some faint pinscratches on the Liberty motif. Cobalt-blue retoning gravitates to the obverse peripheries, and all of the design features exhibit nice detail. (Registry values: P6) (NGC ID# 22ZZ, PCGS# 4259)
