Brilliant Uncirculated 1800 Half Dime
1800 H10C MS62 NGC. V-1, LM-1, R.3. The V-1 1800 half dime is the most frequently encountered of the varieties known for this date. All four digits in the date are equally spaced on this variety, and the first star is low in the field. On this example, the design elements are nicely defined, including most of the detail on the eagle's breast. The strike is well centered on the planchet, and the dentils are relatively strong on each side. Silvery surfaces display an essentially untoned appearance, save for the barest hint of golden color beginning to form at selected border areas. The fields impart a semi-reflective appearance at certain angles. Overall, an exceptional early Uncirculated half dime.(Registry values: P5) (NGC ID# 2326, PCGS# 4264)Weight: 1.35 grams
Metal: 89.24% Silver, 10.76% Copper
