Description

Lustrous 1800 Half Dime
MS63, V-1, LM-1

1800 H10C MS63 PCGS. V-1, LM-1, R.3. A gorgeous early Draped Bust half dime with full details on Liberty's hair, strong stars, and some bluntness on the drapery. The Heraldic Eagle reverse has excellent definition with the exception of the eagle's breast, the base of the right facing wing, and the clouds between S and O. Both sides have brilliant silver luster with satiny surfaces. Faint lilac and gold toning is especially evident at the borders, with splashes of pale blue accompanying. This is an excellent example of the variety, almost certainly within the Condition Census.
