    Description

Late Die State 1800 LIBEKTY Draped Bust Half Dime

1800 H10C V-2, LM-3, R.4. Reiver state b. LIBEKTY VF35 NGC. Light silver and pleasing for the grade, with strong definition on Liberty's hair and decent surfaces. Examination will note a few thin scratches, one crossing Liberty's drapery and a few random ones on the reverse, none worthy of further description. This later die state has a raised die section left of the date nearly to the first star and Liberty's curl. There is a small die lump over the first star above the inside point, and die sinking on BUS of the scroll. This die marriage is somewhat scarce and always popular for the broken R punch on the obverse.
    Ex: Dick Lex, (June, 1960). Envelope Included.(Registry values: P5) (NGC ID# 2326, PCGS# 4265)
