    1801 Half Dime, Bright AU58
    V-1, LM-2, Early Die State

1801 H10C V-1, LM-2, R.4, AU58 PCGS. This bright, minimally toned 1801 V-1, LM-2 half dime is heavily clashed with a crack from the Y down through the adjacent stars. There are no cuds over the 8 or LIB, as sometimes seen. The dentilation at the upper obverse and lower reverse are soft, as is central strike detail. Liberty's lower curls and the eagle's wing feathers still show good definition. Wear is minimal over the high points, and partial mint luster remains around the devices. This Draped Bust half dime issue claims a mintage of 27,760 coins, few of which are ever offered in this high grade. Population: 4 in 58, 7 finer (7/19). (NGC ID# 2327, Variety PCGS# 38606, Base PCGS# 4267)

    Weight: 1.35 grams

    Metal: 89.24% Silver, 10.76% Copper
