Description

1805 V-1, LM-1 Half Dime, AU Details
Unusually Well Struck

1805 H10C V-1, LM-1, R.4 -- Bent, Cleaned -- NGC Details. AU. Light-gray surfaces exhibit even coloration throughout. Hairlines are present in the fields of both sides, leading to NGC's assessment of cleaning. Striking weakness is only present over the tip of the right wing, an unusual occurrence on an issue that is notorious for poor strikes. After taking a break in 1804, the half dime denomination came back for one last hurrah in 1805 before its prolonged discontinuation of nearly a quarter of a century.
