    1794 Flowing Hair Half Dime, VF35
    First-Year Issue, V-4, LM-4

    1794 H10C V-4, LM-4, R.4, VF35 NGC. The leaf tip under the left side of U in UNITED and the single berry under the I identify the popular LM-4 variety. This Choice VF example exhibits the scarce die state with a heavy die crack across the reverse from 12 to 3 o'clock. Another crack travels from the rim through D and the left wing to the eagle's breast. The design elements show some wear but most interior detail remains intact. Dentilation is weak in areas on both sides. Census (for the variety): 3 in 35, 5 finer (10/19). (NGC ID# 22ZT, Variety PCGS# 38584, Base PCGS# 4250)
