1794 50C --Damaged, Improperly Cleaned--NCS. Good 4 Details. O-101a, High R.3. Despite extensive wear and damage in the form of scratches on the obverse portrait and small, circular pockmarks at parts of the reverse, this piece is readily identifiable by variety. A shallow die crack runs from between 12 and 1 o'clock on the obverse rim through the second S in STATES and the nearby leaf. Luminous violet and gold-gray shadings drape each side.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24E6, PCGS# 6051, Greysheet# 6118)
