Elusive 1794 O-106 Half, VG Details
1794 50C --Repaired--NGC. VG Details. O-106, R.6. A pleasing example despite microscopic surface roughness and numerous tooling marks. The surfaces are medium to dark gray with a hint of gold. An important variety, as are all 1794 half dollar die marriages. Only the O-101 combination is plentiful, and even that variety is a R.3.
