Fine 1795 Half Dollar
A Over E in STATES, O-113
1795 50C 2 Leaves Fine 12 NGC. O-113, R.3. The
mint-blundered die variety with an A over E in STATES. Caramel-gold
and cream-gray with sea-green and rose shades along the obverse
periphery. The rims, lettering, and stars are bold and the strike
is even throughout. Lightly abraded save for a few thin marks near
the top of the wreath. We note one mint-made edge flaw at 9
o'clock.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24E7, PCGS# 6052, Greysheet# 6119)
