Rare 1795 Half Dollar, 2 Leaves, O-120, Genuine
1795 50C 2 Leaves--Genuine--PCGS. O-120, R.6. We grade this piece Fine 15. Star 1 pierces the first hair curl and star 2 is point-to-point with the second hair curl, identifying the obverse. Overton-120 has the only reverse that features a 9-8 berry pattern with three berries on the inside of the wreath below the eagle's right (facing) wing and one on the outside. Deep gray toning envelops the surfaces, which show no mentionable marks. The details are well-outlined. Overall, a nice example of this seldom-seen variety.
