1795 O-124 Two Leaves Half, XF Details
Nearly Condition Census
1795 50C 2 Leaves -- Improperly Cleaned -- NGC Details. XF.
O-124, R.5. A rare die pair with a low condition census. Only
about six or seven finer examples of the O-124 exist, and the
present piece is destined for a specialized collection of early
half dollar varieties. A few diagonal adjustment marks are evident
on the obverse. Peach-gold and blue-gray surfaces appear
surprisingly natural despite a past cleaning.
