1795 50C 2 Leaves, O-109, T-16, R.4 -- Cleaned -- PCGS Genuine. VG Details. Tompkins Die State 3/1. The correct berry arrangement for O-109 (T-16) is 9 left, 8 right (called 8x8 in the Tompkins reference). Deep, dusk-gray toning covers an old cleaning. An obverse rim indent between 2 and 3 o'clock is possibly Mint-related, and may be a planchet clip. Solid VG or better details remain throughout both sides of this example, with a joined pair of dentils to the left of OF a quick and reliable way of confirming the variety.
