Description

Toned VF30 1795 Half Dollar, O-104

1795 50C 2 Leaves VF30 NGC. O-104, R.4. A die lump beneath the final star and a radial die crack through the C in AMERICA help attribute this pleasing midgrade Flowing Hair type coin. The fields are golden-brown and the devices are gunmetal-blue. A few moderate adjustment marks on the central reverse are mint-made, as is a small strike-through at the base of Liberty's jaw. Post-strike abrasions are completely inconsequential.(Registry values: N2998)
