O-102, Two Leaves Early Type Coin
1795 50C Two Leaves, O-102, T-26, R.3 -- Cleaned -- PCGS
Genuine. XF Details. Tompkins Die State 2/2. The O-102 variety
is available in circulated grades but becomes scarce in Mint State.
This well-defined example displays a middle die state beneath
cloud-gray toning remnant iridescent colors and bits of golden
luster that emerge from the pleasing intermittent toning. Signs of
a past cleaning are few and this coin appears largely recovered.
Solid XF details remain intact, with a handful of short adjustment
marks at the eagle's left (facing) wing junction and breast and a
few tiny marks scattered here and there on each side.
