Description

Popular O-101 1801 Half Dollar, Fine 12

1801 50C Fine 12 PCGS. O-101, R.3. The more common of two varieties for the year but scarce in all grades, the O-101 is easily identified by its reverse, which shows a die break or "blob" at the arrowheads. This silver-gray example shows gold and charcoal accents around the peripheral devices. Marks are few, and the coin has a surprising level of gloss given the amount of wear.(Registry values: N991)
