Sought-After 1802 Half, VF30, O-101
1802 50C VF30 NGC. O-101, R.3. The only variety of the year.
A scarce date, with only 29,890 pieces minted. Light gold toning
covers both sides. Nice detail shows for the grade, except the
stars are flat as is usually the case. The few light, scattered
marks are not serious. Most survivors are in lower grades. Examples
