Well Defined 1802 Choice XF Fifty Cent, O-101

1802 50C XF45 ICG. O-101, R.3. Production in 1802 of 29,890 half dollars was completed using a single obverse die and a single reverse die which was first placed into use in 1801 (Reverse B). This Choice XF example displays traces of luster residing in the recesses of the light silver-gray surfaces. The design elements retain relatively strong definition. A few contact marks are noted, including a small, shallow scrape at the A in STATES and the cloud beneath.(Registry values: N1)
