1802 50C XF 40 Cleaned. O-101, the only known dies, R.3. This early Draped Bust, Heraldic Eagle half dollar is popular due to its low mintage of 29,890 pieces. The lilac-gray toning deepens markedly about the devices and peripheral areas. Boldly defined and quite attractive despite the impairment, numerous adjustment marks (as produced) are noted throughout the reverse.
