Description
1803 50C Large 3 Good 6 NGC. O-103, R.3. Heavily worn, yet original, the surfaces display deep charcoal-lavender patina that lightens markedly over the raised features. The obverse rim has worn down into the stars, but the reverse periphery has held up better. Remarkably abrasion-free for an early silver coin that saw extensive circulation.
