Choice XF 1805/4 Half, O-102
1805/4 50C XF45 PCGS. O-102, R.3. The underdigit 4 is obvious, as apparently no attempt was made at the Mint to efface it from the die. An early die state that does not have the cracks through star 2 and the right wingtip that are mentioned in Overton. Hints of luster emerge from the wings and hair tresses, and the gunmetal-gray surfaces reveal no untoward abrasions.Ex: FUN Signature (Heritage, 1/2004), lot 6558.(Registry values: N1793)
