Elusive O-126 1806 Pointed 6, Stem Half, VG8
1806 50C Pointed 6, Stem VG8 NGC. O-126, R.7. The obverse is best identified by the recutting of the Y in LIBERTY, while the reverse is distinguished by the leaf point between the R and I in AMERICA. Though heavily circulated, this coin is minimally marked and retains bold essential details beneath slate-gray and gold-gray patina.
