Cloudy AU 58 1807 Draped Bust Half Dollar
1807 Draped Bust AU 58 PCGS. O-110, R.2. A well struck example of this more common final year variety, recognized without difficulty by the numerous die breaks about the stars, date, and legend. The surfaces here want to be lustrous, but a cloudy lilac and pinkish-gold patina almost completely stifles the underlying flow of luster. Still, a borderline uncirculated Draped Bust half dollar that probably merits a low-end Condition Census rating for the variety.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24EM, PCGS# 6079, GSID# 6139)
