1798 $5 Large Eagle, Large 8, 14 Star Reverse--Improperly Cleaned--NCS. VF Details. Breen-6427, BD-3, R.5. Bass-Dannreuther Die State a/c. This elusive die variety is promptly attributed by die cracks through the M in UNUM and the branch stem. A slightly bright but minimally abraded example with apricot, apple-green, lilac, and powder-blue toning.
