    1800 BD-2 Five Dollar
    Uncirculated Sharpness

1800 $5 BD-2, High R.3 -- Scratch -- PCGS Genuine. Unc. Details. Bass-Dannreuther Die State c/d. The PCGS designation is confirmed by a trio of dull straight marks on the field near Liberty's mouth, and a couple of unobtrusive thin vertical marks are concealed within the hair. Nonetheless, an unworn example of a desirable early gold type. Predominately peach-gold with a blush of rose-red on the rim near the T in LIBERTY. The strike shows moderate blending on the eagle's neck and portions of the shield.
    From The Maurice Storck Collection.
