Description

Charming 1807 Bust Left Half Eagle
BD-8, VF30

1807 $5 Bust Left VF30 PCGS. Breen-6453, BD-8, R.2. On the reverse, the feather points to the tip of the 5 in the denomination, which is diagnostic for this variety. Light yellow patina covers the centers, while the margins have a deeper orange-gold color. Myriad abrasions are consistent with the grade and issue, but none are individually significant. A nice example of this first-year issue.(Registry values: P2)
