1807 Bust Right Five, Unc Details
Sharply Struck BD-2 Example

1807 $5 Bust Right, Large Reverse Stars, BD-2, R.5 -- Cleaned -- PCGS Genuine. Unc Details. Bass-Dannreuther Die State e/b. The PCGS number 92 indicates cleaning was the reason for the Genuine identification and UNC Details grade on the holder. Fine hairlines are observed on the surfaces, and a vertical abrasion is on the cap. This was the final year of the Draped Bust Right half eagle, as the United States Mint transitioned to the Capped Bust Left five dollar design in late 1807. Bright orange-gold coloration with good luster at the margins. Sharply struck with central design elements displaying nice detail.
