Description
Uncirculated 1808 Early Five, Wide 5D, BD-4
1808 $5 MS61 NGC. Wide 5D, Breen-6457, BD-4, High R.3. A lovely Uncirculated example of the scarce and popular Reich-designed Bust Left design. The centers have hints of olive-green, while the borders offer subtle peach-red shades. Boldly and evenly struck, and the surfaces are smooth with only faint and unimportant field marks. Luster is particularly extensive across the reverse. An excellent opportunity to secure a quality example of this challenging type.(Registry values: P2)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25PA, PCGS# 8102, GSID# 8810)
