Not Sold Description
Wide 5D 1808 Half Eagle, BD-4
1808 $5 PCGS Genuine. Wide 5D, Breen-6457, BD-4, High R.3. The PCGS number ending in .95 suggests Scratched as the reason, or one of the reasons, why PCGS deemed this coin not gradable. In our opinion, this coin has Uncirculated details, but the obverse is hairlined from a cleaning, and there is a back-and-forth pinscratch on the field near the mouth. The obverse also has a moderate rim ding at 2:30. The lustrous and unblemished reverse is problem-free, and on its own merits would grade MS64.(Registry values: P2, N2)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25PA, PCGS# 8102, GSID# 8810)
