1809/8 $5 --Improperly Cleaned--NGC. Unc Details. Breen-6458, BD-1, High R.3. This is the only half eagle variety of the date. This sharply defined half eagle has brilliant green-gold surfaces with full luster that is only slightly impaired due to cleaning. The 1809/8 half eagle is a plentiful issue in all grades through the lowest Mint State levels.(Registry values: P2)Note for clients in the European Union: This lot is considered by the European Union to be “investment gold”.
