Lustrous Large Date, Large 5 1810 Half Eagle

1810 $5 Large Date, Large 5 MS63 NGC. B. 1-A, Miller-109, R.2. The 1810 Large Date, Large 5 is the most available of the four varieties of this date, and along with the 1807 it is one of the most frequently used issues for type purposes. This is an especially desirable coin that shows strong striking details on each side. The green-gold coloration of the coin is accented by a light overlay of reddish patina and there are no obvious or distracting abrasions on either side, just a few faint adjustment marks on the reverse rim at 10 o'clock.
