Pleasing 1811 Tall 5 Half Eagle, BD-1, AU50

1811 $5 Tall 5 AU50 PCGS. Breen 6463, BD-1. The only obverse die used for the year. A Tall 5 sits over three shortened denticles. Luster shows in the recesses of the yellow-gold surfaces, and relatively sharp definition is apparent on the design elements. Both sides are only minimally abraded and reveal clash marks. Housed in a green label holder.(Registry values: P2)
