1826 Capped Head Left Five, AU Details
    Scarce BD-1 Variety

1826 $5 BD-1, R.5 -- Cleaned -- NGC Details. AU. Bass-Dannreuther Die State a/e. Just the faintest trace of wear shows on the strongly impressed design elements of this scarce early half eagle, and the antique-gold surfaces are lightly abraded, with a slightly flat aspect due to the noted cleaning. John Dannreuther estimates the surviving population at just 30-40 examples in all grades.

When it came to selling my coin collection I decided they were my first and only choice. They never disappoint. Excellent prices when selling through their auctions and you don’t even have to put any reserves on any coins. Simply the biggest company but more importantly the best. Consign with Heritage when you're ready to sell.
