    Description

1866 10C Dime PR64 PCGS. Nicely frosted motifs appear to merit a Cameo designation, although none is present on the green label holder. An assertively struck and only faintly toned near-Gem. Unlike the higher silver denominations, the Motto was not added to the dime in 1866, and another half century would pass before its introduction. A scant 725 proofs were struck, along with only 8,000 business strikes.(Registry values: N991)
