    Certified 1891 Proof Set

1891 1C Cent PR63 Brown ANACS. The otherwise mahogany-brown surfaces reveal some lilac tinting on the obverse and traces of subdued original luster on the reverse. This is a sharply struck specimen with a few light contact marks and scattered carbon flecks.

1891 Nickel PR64 Cameo ANACS. Razor sharp in strike, both sides are overlaid in light, mottled, pastel and silver-gray hues. Mirrored reflectivity in the fields forms a splendid backdrop to the needle sharp, frosty textured devices.

1891 Dime PR62 ANACS. This is a crisply impressed example whose proof qualities are somewhat subdued beneath tan-gray and cobalt toning. There are a few scattered hairlines, but no sizeable contact marks.

1891 Quarter PR60 Cameo ANACS. Some light peripheral iridescence interrupts the otherwise untoned appearance of this crisp specimen striking. Limited in grade by somewhat scuffy surfaces.

1891 Half Dollar PR62 PCGS. The sharp, originally preserved features are ringed in mostly orange-gold peripheral patina. There are some scattered light to moderate handling marks.

1891 Silver Dollar PR63 Cameo PCGS. Dove-gray patina overlays both sides and yields to orange tinged iridescence in most areas at the denticles. There are no outwardly distracting blemishes--an uncommon feature for a proof Morgan at this grade level. Sharply impressed throughout.

Thanks to Heritage I realized a handsome profit for my coin submissions and intend to send most of the remainder of my collection to Heritage Auction Galleries for future auctions.
