    Description

Certified 1894 Proof Set With Choice and Gem Quality Coins

1894 1C Cent PR64 Brown PCGS. Rich glossy brown toning overlays both sides and yields to faded orange-red luster around the obverse periphery. This sharply impressed specimen would have probably secured a Gem rating were the features a little more vibrant.

1894 Nickel PR64 Cameo PCGS. Golden iridescence highlights minimally marked surfaces. There is some mint frost over the devices, but the deeply mirrored fields dominate the outward appearance.

1894 Dime PR65 PCGS. This is a richly toned example whose otherwise antique-copper surfaces reveal pastel tinged blue, gold, and champagne undertones as the coin rotates into the light. Razor sharp striking definition brings forth all elements of the design.

1894 Quarter PR65 NGC. Warmer undertones backlight dominant antique-copper toning. Reflectivity in the fields is only evident at direct angles, but the powerfully impressed devices are readily evident.

1894 Half Dollar PR65 NGC. This sharply struck example possesses definition that is superior to that often seen on business strikes of this type. Both sides are awash in rich antique-copper toning that yields to mottled multicolored undertones as the surfaces dip into the light.

1894 Silver Dollar PR65 NGC. The toning that envelops both sides of this boldly defined Gem is very similar to that seen on the other silver coins in this set. There is not a single noticeable blemish, a feature that is due to careful preservation as well as the depth of the original toning. An important proof representative of this low mintage P-mint Morgan Dollar.
