PCGS Certified and Closely Matched 1910 Proof Set

1910 1C Cent PR65 Red PCGS. A razor-sharp Gem with satiny cartwheel luster and bright orange, gold, and olive colors. The obverse border has a miniscule carbon fleck before 6 o'clock. A rare issue with full original Red color. Population: 38 in 65, 20 finer (1/03).

1910 Nickel PR65 PCGS. An essentially fully struck Gem that has beautifully preserved surfaces. The portrait has a blush of violet color, while dusky apricot patina is elsewhere dominant. An obviously original proof Nickel with impressive eye appeal.

1910 Dime PR64 PCGS. Iridescently toned in sea-green and violet colors, with the latter most extensive on the obverse. Boldly struck, and with no indication of any hairlines beneath the luxuriously deep patina.

1910 Quarter PR64 PCGS. A sharply struck near-Gem that has golden-brown centers and speckled mauve color along the margins. A wispy hairline or two is noted in the right obverse field, while the reverse is lovingly preserved.

1910 Half Dollar PR64 Cameo PCGS. The centers are brilliant, while tobacco-brown and rose-violet colors invigorate the borders. Well struck aside from the eagle's right (facing) shoulder. A faint slide mark or two on the cheek can be observed only upon the closest scrutiny. Very scarce with Cameo contrast. The Barber proof mintage for 1910 is a mere 551 pieces, which is among the lowest emissions of the series.

Thanks to Heritage I realized a handsome profit for my coin submissions and intend to send most of the remainder of my collection to Heritage Auction Galleries for future auctions.
