1906 Proof Set, PR60 to PR64
Consecutively Numbered Old Green Holders

Five-Piece 1906 Proof Set PR60 to PR64 PCGS. The set includes:

Cent PR64 Red and Brown. Fully mirrored with considerable deep orange mint color on the obverse, showing violet toning highlights, and mostly violet on the reverse, exhibiting peripheral blue-green accents, the surfaces hosting minuscule spots on each side.

Nickel PR63. Sharply struck and mildly mirrored, with light gray surfaces and hints of delicate blue toning, free of spots or other contact marks of note, offering excellent eye appeal for the grade.

Dime PR62. Boldly defined with brilliant, untoned silver surfaces, showing mirrored fields around softly lustrous devices, imparting light contrast, and undergraded in our opinion.

Quarter PR60. Exhibiting delicate gold toning on its brilliant silver surfaces, with faint hairlines on Liberty's face and in the fields, and with minuscule contact marks on each side.

Half dollar PR60. Offering exceptional eye appeal for the grade, with intermingled peripheral blue and iridescent toning around light silver centers on each side, showing minor slide marks on Liberty's cheek and neck that explain the grade.

The cent and nickel each had a mintage of 1,725 proofs, while the dime, quarter, and half dollar each has proof productions of just 675 coins. Each of the five coins in this 1906 proof set are housed in green-label PCGS holders, and the five coins have consecutive PCGS certification serial numbers.
