Nearly Complete Centennial Year Proof Set

Partial 1876 Proof Set NGC. Curiously, the only coin missing from the set is the cent. Included are:

Three Cent Nickel PR 65. Brilliant and well mirrored.

Shield Nickel PR 65. Lightly toned on the obverse with somewhat deeper hues on the reverse.

Dime PR 65 Cameo. Lightly toned with stark cameo contrast between the fields and devices.

Quarter PR 65. The deep mirrors flash forcefully through the rich cinnamon-brown and lilac-gray patina that covers each side.

Half PR 66. An enchanting type coin whose brilliant centers are surrounded by concentric rings of golden-rose and sea-green toning.

    Trade Dollar PR 64. A pleasing example whose steel-gray surfaces have a light overlay of golden-rose patina. (NGC ID# 23XE, PCGS# 7440)

Thanks to Heritage I realized a handsome profit for my coin submissions and intend to send most of the remainder of my collection to Heritage Auction Galleries for future auctions.
