    Description

1882 T$1 Trade Dollar PR66 Cameo NGC. The fields are exceptionally bright and show unfathomable depth of reflectivity. This, of course, provides for a background of "black" against the white frostiness that covers the devices. An extraordinary coin for several reasons: first, the high grade is most unusual on a Trade Dollar; second, the 1882 is a proof-only issue and subject to limited availability; and third, cameo contrast is most unusual on Trade Dollars. Just the slightest tinge of golden color surrounds the rims on each side of this exemplary coin. (NGC ID# 23XE, PCGS# 7440)
