    Uncertified 1862 Proof Set

Uncertified 1862 Proof Set housed in a Black Capital Plastics Holder. Included are:

Cent PR 63. A small carbon spot is noticed just below Liberty's ear, but the balance of the surfaces display pleasing champagne-tan coloration.

Three Cent Silver PR 63. Lightly toned, the surfaces reveal modest cameo contrast.

Half Dime PR 64. Pale electric-blue and champagne-gray iridescence about the borders frames the essentially brilliant centers.

Dime PR 63. The hazy-gray patina on the obverse yields to mottled golden-tan shades about the reverse periphery.

Quarter PR 61. Numerous hairlines and splotchy patina limit the grade as well as the eye appeal of this deeply reflective specimen.

Half PR 62. This heavily mirrored piece exhibits a few too many hairlines to warrant a higher grade.

Dollar PR 62. This brilliant example shows razor sharp definition and watery fields that could only be the result of proof execution.
