    Description

    PCGS Certified 1936 Proof Set with Satin Cent and Nickel

    A 1936 Proof Set PR63 to PR66 PCGS that includes:

    1936 1C Type One--Satin Finish Cent PR63 Red, essentially unabraded but with scattered tiny carbon flecks and a lintmark (as made) below the chin;

    1936 Type One--Satin Finish Nickel PR66, a shimmering Gem with apricot color and a meticulous strike, seemingly as made;

    1936 Dime PR64, boldly struck, slate-gray color, slightly rotated dies, striated fields (as made), the lowest proof mintage in the series as is also the case for the Quarter and Half Dollar;

    1936 Quarter PR63, sharply struck, untoned, a faint slide mark on the lower cheek; and a

    1936 Half Dollar PR64, a hint of pale gold and sky-blue colors, well struck, exquisitely preserved, a pleasing representative of this key proof Walker issue. (#3332)
