Almost Uncirculated 1807 Quarter Eagle1807 $2 1/2 AU50 NGC. The 1807 is the final year in the Capped Bust Right series and it has an original mintage of 6,812 pieces, making it an issue that is often used as a type coin. This piece is softly struck but retains good portions of mint luster around the devices. While most of each side is a deep golden-orange, the highpoints of the design elements show a significant overlay of gray patina. The only mark of significance is an angling abrasion in the right obverse field.
