Description
PCGS 1832 XF 40. Always a popular date with collectors because of its absolute scarcity in all grades, the 1832 also has an impressively low mintage of only 4,400 pieces. This date is not as well struck as others of the type, and this is apparent even at the XF 40 level. This original piece shows a thin outline of charcoal color surrounding the devices and there are a few minor facial blemishes, none of which, however, merit individual mention. Trends $3,750.
